An excellent opportunity exist to join one of Queensland's fastest growing hospitality management groups.
As Venue Manager of one of our four sites, you will be responsible for the day to day hospitality operation at Brothers Rugby Union Club located at Albion.
Responsibilities will include the operation of Crosby's Bar and Grill, a number of Function spaces and and the Match Day activations of the food and beverage operations during the many home games throughout the Rugby season.
Brothers Rugby Club is one of Queensland's most successful Clubs, attracting thousands of registered players and many spectators, with lots of fanfare and vibrancy. Your role will be to coordinate these busy days supported by management and a long list of professionally trained staff. This role requires the expertise and experience of a well trained hospitality person who has worked in and around function and event spaces. An understanding POS systems, rostering, food and beverage handling and ordering, management of personnel and F&B operations is essential. The ideal candidate is a self motivated person with excellent communication skills and with the ability to interact with customers both internal and external. The Rugby Club itself has plans for major upgrades later in the year in preparation for the Rugby World Cup in 2027. A minimum of 3-5 years of hospitality management experience in function and event spaces is required.
Advanced user proficiency with POS systems is essential for this position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 10-20 staff members.
