Camden Valley Inn offers a memorable, family-friendly atmosphere across a variety of spaces, including a spacious alfresco dining area, multiple bars, dedicated conference and wedding function rooms, a pizzeria, a children's sanctuary, and 4-star accommodation facilities.

We are currently seeking an experienced Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef with proven experience working in high-volume venues to join our kitchen leadership team. This role reports directly to the Executive Chef.

About You

• Experience as a Sous Chef/Senior Sous Chef in a similar fast-paced environment or someone looking to step up to the challenge
• Must have the personality and skills to manage a team fairly and lead by example
• Ability to create and roll out menu changes
• Creativity essential and knowledge of food trends
• Experience in preparation and execution of functions including both plated courses and cocktail style
• Experience in controlling food costs & labour costs in line with budgets
• Knowledge of food safety requirements are non-negotiable with ability to assist the Head Chef and managers in the current program 
• Must have the ability to collaborate with other departments within the business 
• Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate preferred
