Sous Chef - San Telmo Brisbane | Exciting new venue opening!

Start: ASAP Where: Brisbane City, QLD Type: Full time Pay: On application

JOB DESCRIPTION

The San Telmo Group is coming to Brisbane!

San Telmo is a much anticipated addition to Brisbane’s restaurant scene. In the same fashion as its flagship Melbourne venue, San Telmo Brisbane will be an Argentinian steakhouse known for its focus on traditional asado-style cooking, premium cuts of meat, and bold, rustic flavours. Inspired by the convivial spirit of Argentinian dining, San Telmo will bring a unique atmosphere to Brisbane’s restaurant scene with its authentic South American hospitality.

With an experienced Head Chef already in place, we’re seeking a Sous Chef to help lead the kitchen at San Telmo Brisbane. This is a hands-on leadership role — ideal for a chef who thrives in service and enjoy developing people in a premium, fast-paced environment.

What's in it for you?

  • Competitive wages, tips and bonuses — Work in a top venue with a rewarding pay package.
  • Convenient location — San Telmo Brisbane is situated less than 10 min walk from Central Station.
  • Stable roster with work-life balance — The old hospo standard of back-to-back doubles and unpaid overtime doesn’t apply here. You’re a person, and we know you have a life outside of work.
  • Incredible staff discounts — Experience 5-star dining at fast food prices.
  • Industry-leading training — Access external training across leadership, hospitality and beverage knowledge — and we cover the cost.
  • Real growth potential — One of our current Directors started as a Kitchen Hand at San Telmo — just one example of how we develop our people.
  • Collaborative team culture — Join a supportive, fun and enthusiastic team where your ideas and contributions are valued
