We’re Hiring Experienced Waitstaff!

We’re looking for experienced waitstaff to join our team at Cinder. You’ll need to be confident running your own section, delivering great service and keeping on top of things during a busy service.

This isn’t an entry-level role. Previous experience managing your own section is a must, along with a solid understanding of restaurant service and the ability to work well with the rest of the team.

December availability is essential. We’re heading into one of our busiest times of the year and need people with broad availability throughout December, including the Christmas and New Year period. If you’re able to work regularly across the festive season, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications & experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant, confidently managing your own section.

• Experience working in a busy venue.

• Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.

• Ability to stay organised, work efficiently and maintain high service standards during busy services.

• Confident carrying drinks on a tray and three plates.

• An interest in food, wine and food pairings, with a willingness to keep learning.

• A willingness to build knowledge of wine, spirits and the menu.

• Ability to lead by example, support your teammates and contribute to a positive team culture.

• Current Victorian RSA.

• Broad availability throughout December, including the Christmas and New Year period.
