Award-Winning Blue Mountains Restaurant
Location: Blackheath, Blue Mountains NSW
Employment: Full Time (rotating roster)
Salary: Excellent remuneration for the right candidate + tips & benefits
The Opportunity
An award-winning Blue Mountains restaurant with a loyal following and strong reputation for food and hospitality is looking for a confident floor leader to join the team.
The venue has built its reputation on bold, produce-driven food, a vibrant atmosphere and genuinely warm service. Most nights we're full with a mix of locals, travellers and weekend guests escaping the city.
We’re now looking for a Restaurant Manager — or an experienced Supervisor or Assistant Manager ready to step into their first management role — to help lead the floor and continue building the energy and culture of the venue.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves service, enjoys mentoring a team and takes pride in creating memorable guest experiences.
The Role
You’ll lead the service team and help shape the guest experience.
This is a floor-focused leadership role, not an office job. You’ll run service, mentor the team and ensure the experience feels smooth from the moment guests walk through the door.
You’ll work closely with the kitchen and venue leadership to maintain the standards that have built the restaurant’s reputation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the floor during service and set the standard for hospitality
Train, mentor and support the FOH team
Run confident, organised services during busy periods
Manage rostering and shift planning
Use systems to perform beverage ordering and stock control
Maintain procedures and RSA compliance
Build rapport with regular guests and returning visitors
Work closely with the kitchen to ensure smooth service flow
