We have an opportunity for a Hospitality Key Accounts / Field Sales Manager to lead our growing team in New Zealand.

 

About the role:

As part of our expansion plans, we are growing our New Zealand team, and have an exciting new opening for the right candidate! 

This is a Senior Sales role with the opportunity to take over the running of the day to day sales and operations of the Barcats New Zealand business. The ideal person is someone that has great connections within the alcohol/hospitality industry. This person, whilst being senior does not mind rolling up their sleeves and pounding the pavement - old school selling - leading from the front and continuing to build momentum.

This role will suit a hospitality sales professional or a  hospitality manager looking to move their career in a different direction while still continuing in the industry you love.

Salary negotiable based on experience with the opportunity to for startup business equity post probation period.


As the Hospitality Key Accounts / Field Sales Manager, you will be responsible for: 

  • Business Development: Liaising directly with owners, landlords and managers of restaurants, pubs, bars and clubs in the local area
  • Commercial Partnerships: Creating, pitching and closing new commercial partnerships with corporate and training partners
  • Field Sales: Pitching Barcats to local business owners, dealing with objections, and closing the deal
  • Engaging current hospitality staff and finding prospective staff members to sign up to the platform via universities, hospitality colleges, social networks and the general public (Your role is to build a big network of workers that are prepared to fill roles across a variety of positions from bartenders to waiters to baristas to cleaners)
  • Networking: Reaching out to your network on Social Media and promoting Barcats, whilst spreading digital content
  • Account Management: Acting as an account manager for the clients and commercial partners that you bring on board
  • Travel: The role requires you to travel around the local area, in a field sales role, presenting the product to multiple business owners
