About the Role
This is a casual, gaming-focused position with your primary responsibility being the gaming floor. You will ensure all patrons receive attentive, professional, and friendly service in a safe and welcoming environment.
You will work across the gaming lounge and associated areas, with shifts ranging from 10:00am through to 4:00am, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver outstanding customer service to all gaming patrons.
Respond to service calls promptly and professionally.
Accurately handle cash transactions, including payouts and reconciliations.
Monitor gaming operations including poker machines.
Assist patrons with gaming machine enquiries and troubleshooting.
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the gaming floor at all times.
Ensure compliance with all gaming regulations and responsible gambling requirements.
Identify and report incidents, faults, or suspicious behaviour immediately.
Work collaboratively with the broader hotel team to ensure smooth daily operations.
What You’ll Bring
Current RSA and RCG certificates – essential.
ARCG qualification or willingness to obtain.
Valid Australian working rights.
Flexibility to work a rotating roster between 10:00am and 4:00am.
Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable manner.
A genuine passion for customer service and guest engagement.
Proven cash handling experience with high accuracy.
A team-focused attitude and strong work ethic.
Professional presentation and grooming standards.
Experience in Bar, Gaming, TAB and KENO is highly regarded but not essential.
