Food & Beverage Salesperson/Waiter

Start: ASAP Where: Brisbane City, QLD Type: Part time / casual Pay: On application

JOB DESCRIPTION

The San Telmo Group operates one of Australia’s most celebrated Argentinian steakhouses, with a flagship Melbourne venue renowned for traditional asado cooking, premium produce and bold South American hospitality. We are now bringing San Telmo to Brisbane — and we’re building the team that will make it exceptional. People enjoy working with us because we invest in our people, promote from within, and create environments where great hospitality professionals can genuinely grow.

About the Role
Join San Telmo Brisbane — one of Brisbane's most anticipated openings for 2026— as a Section Waiter. This is a key role working across the dining floor, delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, premium CBD environment. You’ll work within a close-knit front-of-house team, reporting to a Restaurant Supervisor and receiving dedicated monthly appraisals & real professional support!

As a Food & Beverage Salesperson at San Telmo Brisbane, your day to day will involve:

  • Deliver attentive table service across floor sections
  • Drive food and beverage sales through confident menu knowledge and guest engagement
  • Maintain premium service standards in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and contribute to a positive team culture
  • Collaborate with kitchen and management to ensure seamless service delivery

Culture
People enjoy working at San Telmo because the culture is built on genuine hospitality — warm, social, and team-first. We run structured rosters — the old standard of back-to-back doubles and unpaid overtime doesn't apply here, and we celebrate the people who make the experience great. This is a team where your contribution is seen, valued and rewarded.

Benefits
• Strong internal promotion pathway — we grow our own leaders. One of our Directors started with us as a Kitchen Hand!
• Structured roster — the old standard of back-to-back doubles and unpaid overtime doesn't apply here
• Fully funded external training: leadership, service & beverage
• Staff discounts on premium dining across the Group - yes, even the Melbourne venues!
• Less than 10 minutes’ walk from Central Station
• End-of-trip facilities, including secure indoor bike storage, fully equipped bathrooms with lockers, showers, hair dryers, ironing facilities, and towel service.
