We are looking for an experienced and passionate F&B Duty Manager that comes from either a Restaurant or Beverage Manager background for an exciting opportunity located a few minutes from the CBD, nestled on the rooftop terrace of Cockle Bay Wharf.
Reporting to the Operations Manager / General Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing the venue in their absence and bring with you the skills for operating a full-service premium casual dining and beverage experience.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar in a busy fast paced environment, in the absence of senior management.
· Ensure excellence in food and beverage service standards and to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
· Supervision of team members.
· Hands on and lead by example attitude.
· Strong understanding on Food, Beverage and Payroll cost control.
· F&B ordering, and stock and inventory control
· Experience with rostering
Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.
Desired Skills and Experience:
We will require a minimum 3-5 years' previous experience as Restaurant / Bar Manager within a high performing fast paced venue, ideally having events / night trade experience, complemented with excellent food and beverage knowledge and exceptional customer service skills.
Able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
