Floor Staff & Bar Staff – Rooftop Dining Venue

We are seeking experienced Floor Staff and Bar Staff with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences at our stunning rooftop venue.

Located atop the luxurious new Hotel X in the heart of Brisbane’s dining scene, Iris is a Mediterranean-inspired oasis in the sky. With breathtaking 360-degree views spanning the Story Bridge, city skyline, Fortitude Valley and Moreton Bay, Iris offers an unforgettable setting for both guests and team members.

Floor Staff

As a Floor Staff member, you will report to the Restaurant Manager and play a key role in the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Welcoming and escorting guests to their tables

• Setting tables and maintaining a clean, organised dining area

• Presenting menus, providing detailed information and making recommendations

• Delivering bills and processing payments efficiently

• Working closely with bar and kitchen teams to ensure timely service

About You

• Previous experience in a dining or high-volume hospitality venue

• Strong communication skills and a polished, professional presentation

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences
