JOB DESCRIPTION


TOKI BISTRO AND BAR — HATTED FRENCH-ASIAN FINE DINING, NORTH SYDNEY, RIGHT OPPOSITE VICTORIA CROSS STATION.

We're looking for a Front of House team member to join us.

We train, we invest, and we promote from within — the right person will have a clear path to grow.

• Fine dining experience preferred
• Weekend availability required
• Casual award rate + loading + tips
• 30-40 hrs/week, more available for the right candidate
• Uniform, staff meals, free coffee, group discounts

Valid work rights required. WHV and students welcome.

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a fine dining restaurant or upscale hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service, including wine pairing and menu recommendations.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills with a professional and friendly attitude.
  • Ability to provide exceptional guest experiences while maintaining fine dining service standards.
  • Experience using POS systems and processing customer orders accurately.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while paying close attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
  • Well-groomed appearance and professional presentation.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification 
  • Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and resolve guest concerns professionally.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
