JOB DESCRIPTION

Floor Supervisors will:

  • Lead and support front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences in premium dining environments.
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring service standards, presentation, and guest satisfaction are consistently maintained.
  • Provide hands-on leadership during service, assisting team members and ensuring smooth service flow across all sections.
  • Manage guest enquiries, feedback, and service recovery situations in a professional and solutions-focused manner.
  • Support the training, coaching, and development of waitstaff and food & beverage attendants.
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen and management teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Monitor venue presentation, cleanliness, and compliance with operational procedures and standards.


Bar Supervisors will:

  • Lead bar teams to deliver exceptional beverage service and memorable guest experiences.
  • Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and consistency across all beverage offerings.
  • Support, train, and mentor bartenders while fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.
  • Manage stock control, ordering, inventory management, and beverage presentation standards.
  • Monitor RSA compliance and responsible service practices at all times.
  • Handle guest enquiries and service recovery situations while maintaining premium hospitality standards.
  • Collaborate with venue management and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth operational performance.

REQUIREMENTS

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced hospitality professional with previous supervisory experience in premium restaurants, bars, or hospitality venues.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and leading high-performing teams.
  • Able to remain calm under pressure while maintaining professional service standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Committed to team development, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Must hold valid Australian working rights with a visa validity of at least 8 months from commencement date.


Essential:

  • Minimum 2 years' hospitality experience, including previous supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams in fast-paced hospitality environments.
  • Strong understanding of premium service standards and guest experience delivery.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
  • Valid Australian working rights with a minimum of 8 months remaining on current visa (if applicable).
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Additional Requirements – Floor Supervisors:

  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, table service, reservations, and guest experience management.
  • Experience leading front-of-house teams within premium dining environments.
  • Ability to coordinate service flow between front-of-house and kitchen teams.


Additional Requirements – Bar Supervisors:

  • Previous experience supervising premium bars, cocktail bars, or high-volume beverage operations.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage service standards.
  • Experience with stock control, ordering, inventory management, and beverage cost control.
  • Strong understanding of RSA compliance and responsible service practices.


Desirable / Additional:

  • Previous experience within premium dining, luxury hospitality, or multi-venue operations.
  • Wine knowledge.
  • Experience with staff training, rostering, and performance management.
  • Experience using POS, reservations, inventory, or venue management systems.
  • Approved Manager qualification (or equivalent) highly regarded.
  • Leadership experience within high-volume hospitality environments.
