Full Time | Monday to Friday Salary package tailored to experience + Super + Company Car + Fuel + Monthly Dining Allowance
We're on the lookout for someone who is genuinely passionate about food.
Fino Foods is a wholesale importer and distributor of artisan speciality food. Since 2003 we've been travelling across Australia and around the world, sitting at producers' tables, attending trade shows, and building direct relationships with the makers behind our range. That range spans artisan cheese, charcuterie, conservas, couverture, olive oils, spices, condiments, and an acclaimed Japanese pantry range.
We supply chefs and hospitality operators who care about what they put on the plate. Our job is to find the world's best producers and bring their food to the people who'll do it justice.
At Fino, taste comes first. Always.
The Territory
Brisbane is your base. From there you'll manage key accounts across Greater South East Queensland — taking in the Gold Coast, Noosa, the Sunshine Coast, and the Northern Rivers. This territory contains some of the country's finest restaurants, hotels, and premium hospitality venues. These are clients worth knowing.
The Role
You'll manage and grow a defined client territory, building and deepening relationships with chefs, restaurateurs, and hotel F&B teams by introducing them to new products and producers, identifying what each account could be doing more of, and making sure your service keeps them loyal.
When producers visit, you'll host and connect them with the clients who'll value them most. It's one of the genuinely great parts of this job.
This is not a volume play. It's not cold-calling. It's relationship-driven, knowledge-based work — the kind where the quality of the conversation matters as much as the sale. The chefs and buyers you'll be working with are serious professionals. They'll expect you to know your product, and we'll make sure you do.
The Package
Salary tailored to your experience. We'd rather have a genuine conversation than advertise a bracket that doesn't fit. Whether you're making a first move into sales or bringing years of it, we'll put together a package that reflects what you bring.
Direct access to world-class producers. When you work at Fino, you're connected to some of the finest artisan food makers in Spain, Italy, Japan, and Australia.
About Fino Foods
Fino Foods was founded in Brisbane in 2003 by Michael and Nicki Dalton — starting from a garage, with a handful of speciality products and a simple idea: find the best food in the world and bring it to the chefs and retailers who'll appreciate it.
More than two decades later, we import and distribute across Queensland, New South Wales, and the ACT. We have a purpose-built, ISO 22000-certified warehouse in Brisbane, a team of long-standing specialists, and direct supplier relationships built over years of buying trips to Spain, Italy, Japan, and beyond.
We're privately owned. We're about finding food that genuinely tastes better than anything else, and making sure Australian chefs and hospitality operators can access it.
