Café del Mar Sydney is a premium restaurant and rooftop bar, which hosts a calendar full of corporate, social and international music events throughout the year.   We are looking for experienced and passionate Floor Staff to join our team at this iconic venue, working across lunch and dinner service as well as our fast paced weekend events.

 Our menu offers a modern Australian approach using local and seasonal produce– with a focus on fresh clean and flavourful dishes inspired by cuisines from the Mediterranean coastline. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellent food and beverage service across lunch and dinner trade
• Support a fast paced floor during weekend events
• Maintain high standards of customer service and guest experience
• Work efficiently as part of a team during busy periods
• Assist with table service, order taking and general floor duties as required

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar floor/front of house role within a fast paced, high end venue
• Comfortable working during high volume lunch, dinner and event trade
• Able to work a flexible schedule across a 4 day roster, Tuesday to Sunday (need to be flexible)
• Lunch and dinner service across these 4 days
• Available to work 25-30 hrs per week, with 38-40 hrs during busier weeks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, hands on attitude and genuine passion for hospitality
• Proven ability to stay calm and deliver great service under pressure

Role Requirements

• RSA Certificate (essential)
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia (essential)
• Australian Food Safety Certificate (preferred)
