Experienced Café / Fast-Food All-Rounder

We’re looking for a strong, experienced hospitality all-rounder to join our fast-paced food business.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and can confidently move between different areas of the shop rather than staying at one station all day.

What you’ll be doing

• Customer service and POS
• Making coffee, juices and drinks
• Preparing and assembling bread rolls and other food
• Assisting with hot food and kitchen preparation
• Restocking and keeping stations organised
• Cleaning as you go
• Helping wherever needed during busy periods

• Have previous café, takeaway or fast-food experience
• Work quickly without sacrificing quality
• Can confidently handle several tasks during a rush
• Notice what needs doing without constantly being asked
• Are reliable and punctual
• Keep your work area clean and organised
• Communicate well with customers and teammates
• Are happy to learn every station

Barista experience is highly regarded.

We’re particularly interested in someone who can become a key all-rounder in the team, not simply cover one station.

Hours

Casual / part-time hours available, including weekday and weekend shifts.

Our busiest period is generally around 10 am–2 pm, so availability around these hours is important.

Pay

Competitive hourly rate based on experience and applicable award rates.

Please only apply if you’re reliable, comfortable working at a fast pace, and genuinely happy to work across multiple stations.

• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a café, takeaway, fast-food or similar hospitality environment preferred
• Confident with customer service, POS, food preparation and food assembly
• Barista/coffee-making experience highly regarded
• Able to work efficiently across multiple stations and stay calm during busy periods
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures
• Food Safety/Food Handler certificate preferred, or willingness to obtain one
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently when required
• Good communication skills and a positive team attitude
• Must have valid Australian working rights
• Availability during our key 10 am–2 pm trading period is highly desirable
• Neat, clean and professional presentation; closed-toe non-slip shoes required
