JOB DESCRIPTION

Lead the Floor: Venue Supervisor / Duty Manager

Marmont is seeking a sharp, high-energy Duty Manager to join our leadership team. We are a fast-paced, fine dining, high-volume destination where excellence is the standard. If you are a natural leader who thrives in the heat of service and knows how to command a floor, we want you.

This position is currently Casual/Part-Time, with a clear pathway to Full-Time based on performance and cultural fit.

The Role

As Duty Manager, you are the heartbeat of the shift. You will oversee floor operations, mentor staff, and ensure every guest receives the signature Marmont experience. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Floor Leadership: Managing staff breaks, positioning, training and performance during high-pressure service.

  • Guest Excellence: Resolving issues on the go with grace and ensuring seamless high level of service.

  • Operational Integrity: Opening/closing procedures, cash handling, reporting and RSA compliance.

  • Maintaining venue standards

What You Bring

  • Proven Experience: Essential experience in a supervisory or management role within a similar high-volume, premium venue.

  • Leadership: The ability to motivate a diverse team and lead by example (you aren't afraid to jump in the trenches).

  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills—you can talk to anyone and handle difficult situations with ease.

  • Sharp Eye: Attention to detail that ensures the venue looks and functions perfectly at all times.

The Requirements

  • Must be 18+ years of age.

  • Current RSA Certificate

  • Flexible availability, including late nights, weekends, and public holidays.

  • A professional and polished presentation.

Proven leadership skills and staff devlopment

Excellent customer service

Fine Dining experience essential
