House Bar is on the ground floor and is a high volume, fast paced and fun ground floor offering, perfect for our patrons to enjoy a sneaky-work-lunch or a shared something, where they can kick-back with Japanese-inspired pub classics and rays for days.

Rekodo occupies the first floor. A nod to Japanese listening rooms, Rekōdo blurs the line between food, drink and music to create an immersive restaurant and music experience, the menu is grounded by flavours of Japan, with scope to explore wider Asian influences.

On the rooftop is Smoke, our premium cocktail bar boasting front row views of the harbour, where our guests can enjoy premium snacks and shares whilst sipping fun, playful and theatrical cocktails set to impress on balmy afternoons or star lit nights.

The Role 

We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to support the day-to-day operation of House Bar at Barangaroo House, taking ownership of the floor and leading teams through high-volume service. This role is hands on and service led, with a strong focus on people leadership, operational excellence and delivering a consistently elevated guest experience.

The role covers all venue essentials including running shifts end-to-end, opening and closing the venue, coordinating staff across service areas, supporting stocktake and ordering, and ensuring smooth execution across busy trade periods. 

Experience working as a Duty Manager or Supervisor in some of Sydney's best restaurants and venues will allow you to hit the ground running, coupled with your passion for creating memorable moments for our guests and driving guest experience on the floor.
