We’re looking for a reliable cook or chef to join our team at The Thoroughbred Hotel in Scone.
This is not a high-pressure, fine dining role. We’ve already stripped the menu back and built a kitchen that is simple, structured and manageable to run.
If you’re tired of chaotic kitchens, long hours and unrealistic expectations, this could be a great fit.
About the role:
Running a simplified pub-style menu
Small, supportive team
Structured systems in place (no guesswork)
Focus on consistency, not complexity
Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.
What we’re looking for:
Someone reliable and shows up
Can work independently during service
Good attitude and team player
Experience in a commercial kitchen preferred, but not essential for the right person
