Located in Brisbane’s northern suburbs, Eatons Hill Hotel—awarded Australia’s Best Meetings & Events Venue (AHA Awards 2022)—is seeking a motivated and service-driven Conference & Functions Attendant to join our professional team.
Eatons Hill Hotel offers a premium and versatile conferencing experience, featuring up to 20 adaptable spaces designed to accommodate a range of client needs and atmospheres. Our facilities include multiple boardrooms, conference suites, and a multi-level ballroom capable of hosting up to 600 guests, complemented by our award-winning 90-room boutique accommodation.
About the Role
The Conference & Functions Attendant plays a key role in ensuring the seamless delivery of our corporate meetings, conferences, and private functions. This position requires a proactive, hands-on approach and a commitment to providing professional, high-quality service with exceptional attention to detail.
You will support the setup, execution, and pack down of all conference and function spaces, working collaboratively with the broader operations team to deliver a polished client experience reflective of our award-winning standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and execute conference and function setups according to client specifications and event briefs
Deliver professional, attentive food and beverage service during functions
Maintain presentation standards across all conference and function spaces
Liaise effectively with supervisors and clients to ensure smooth event execution
Assist with AV and technical setup where required
Uphold venue safety, hygiene, and RSA compliance standards
About You
Previous experience in hospitality, conferences, or functions is most ideal.
Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering exceptional service
Professional presentation and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Flexible availability, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends
Current RSA Certificate (mandatory)
