☕ Barista Wanted – Riverbar & Kitchen

With spectacular views of the Brisbane River, delicious food, cold beers, great wine and playful cocktails, Riverbar & Kitchen is one of Brisbane’s best open-air venues — and we’re looking for our next hospitality superstar!

Open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, we’re all about great produce, great drinks and, most importantly, great people. We’re a busy, vibrant venue that attracts everyone from local regulars and corporate crowds to corporate functions, interstate visitors and international tourists.

What we’re looking for

We’re on the hunt for a strong Barista who can bring both the coffee skills and the hospitality game.

We want someone who:

• ☕ Knows their way around a coffee machine and can consistently pump out great coffee
• 🙌 Has ripper hospitality skills and genuinely enjoys looking after guests
• 😎 Brings plenty of personality, energy and a positive attitude
• ⚡ Can thrive in a fast-paced, busy venue
• 🤝 Is a team player who isn't afraid to jump in and help wherever needed
• 🍸 Has bar knowledge and cocktail skills — a bonus for the right candidate
• 🧠 Is confident working across both coffee and broader beverage service
• ❤️ Takes pride in creating a great guest experience
•  Holds a current Queensland RSA — this is essential

The right candidate can expect 30+ hours per week, with the opportunity to become a key part of the Riverbar team.

The Role:

We are on the hunt for experienced Cocktail Slingers and Mixologists to join our incredible team.

As Bartender, you will work with our beverage team to prepare and curate exceptional cocktails for our patrons! Hospitality will be in your DNA and you will love the training, the excitement and the fun culture you will receive each and every shift at Riverbar. 

Having worked in some of Brisbane's best restaurants and bars, you will hit the ground running. Whether you are an experienced cocktail master or looking for a foot in the door to a career in hospitality, we want to hear from you!
