Winston Small Bar is Hiring!

Winston is an intimate, late-night bar built around classic cocktails, inspired by New Orleans jazz and blues, and vinyl culture. With warm, vintage-inspired Hi-Fi sound and low moody lighting. The cocktail list rotates weekly, offering a fresh and evolving experience on every visit.

We're seeking a Cocktail Bartender with at least 1 year experience.

20+ Hours a week, Thursday Friday & Saturday Nights. HIGA Level 3.

Job Details

As a Cocktail Bartender at Winston, you’ll be responsible for delivering confident, consistent classic cocktails while contributing to the calm, atmospheric experience the bar is known for.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve classic cocktails to a high standard

  • Work confidently within a weekly rotating cocktail menu

  • Deliver relaxed, attentive service aligned with a late-night bar environment

  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of the bar

  • Support smooth service flow and positive guest experience
     

About You

  • Minimum 1 year cocktail bartending experience

  • Strong understanding of classic cocktails and bar fundamentals

  • Calm, reliable, and detail-oriented during service

  • Comfortable working evening and late-night hours

  • Interest in cocktail culture and hospitality

  • Genuine love of music, particularly jazz, blues, and vinyl culture

  • Confidence engaging guests in conversation about music when appropriate
     

This role suits someone who values music as much as cocktails and wants to be part of shaping the mood and rhythm of the room.

 



Interview required
