JOB DESCRIPTION

Glorietta is looking for a strong Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team in North Sydney.

Glorietta is a busy, established Italian restaurant in the heart of North Sydney, known for generous hospitality, a lively dining room, wood-fired cooking, handmade pasta, seasonal produce and a strong wine focus.

We are looking for a capable, reliable and motivated CDP who wants to be part of a professional kitchen team and take ownership of their section.

REQUIREMENTS

About the role

This is a hands-on Chef de Partie position in a high-volume restaurant environment. You will work closely with the senior kitchen team to deliver consistent, well-executed food across busy lunch and dinner services.

You will be responsible for running your section, maintaining standards, supporting junior chefs and contributing to a calm, organised and productive kitchen.

What we are looking for

The right person will have:

  • Previous experience as a CDP or strong Demi Chef in a busy restaurant
  • Good technical skills and a solid understanding of section management
  • A calm, organised approach during service
  • Pride in consistency, cleanliness and preparation
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • An interest in Italian food, wood-fired cooking, pasta and seasonal produce
  • Full working rights in Australia

Experience in Italian restaurants or high-volume venues is helpful, but attitude, reliability and standards matter most.
