We’re looking for passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our Palomar kitchen team. We are looking for a chef who will take pride in creating amazing dishes at our venue. We believe that food is more than sustenance - it's a story, an experience, and a celebration. Take pride in putting care into every plate and create experiences that bring our guests back time and time again.
How does your working day look like …
Take ownership in your section, ensuring smooth service and maintaining the highest culinary standards;
Execute the restaurant’s menu, balancing creativity, seasonality, and guest preferences;
Hosting everything from canapé events to full-venue takeovers;
Maintain a consistent level of quality in food preparation, presentation, and taste;
Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment;
Ensure the kitchen adheres to all health and safety regulations;
Work closely with the Restaurant team regarding availability of menu items and relevant changes;
Maintain high levels of productivity while minimising waste.

We are looking for you – with personality and that certain something …
You have at least 2 years of experience in a Demi Chef role within a hotel operation or independent venue;
You have proven experience motivating a diverse kitchen team in a high-pressure environment;
You have a strong focus on quality, cleanliness, and presentation;
You possess thorough knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices;
You have strong communication skills and can collaborate effectively with front-of-house staff and other departments;
You are able to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.
