Under the leadership of Ghanem Group Executive Chef Jake Nicolson, we prioritise the finest local beef and work closely with trusted suppliers to ensure premium quality and consistency. Our naturally fueled, open wood‑fired grill is the heart of the kitchen — cooking over real flame, fragrant woods, and glowing coals.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a friendly and professional Casual Waiter/Waitress to join our front‑of‑house team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional service throughout the guest’s dining experience, from welcoming them at arrival to processing their final bill. You will report directly to the Venue Manager, and during service periods will also be supported by the Floor Supervisor.

What You’ll Be Doing

Key responsibilities include:

• Welcoming and seating guests with a warm, professional manner

• Presenting menus and answering detailed questions about dishes, portions, ingredients and potential allergens

• Setting up and preparing dining areas with linens, cutlery and glassware, and keeping spaces tidy

• Informing guests of daily specials and offering menu suggestions

• Recommending additional items to enhance the dining experience

• Taking accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system, notepads or by memorisation

• Communicating orders clearly to kitchen staff

• Serving food and beverages with attention to detail and timing

• Inspecting dishes and glassware for quality and presentation

• Presenting the bill and processing payments

• Clearing used plates and glassware efficiently

• Participating in pre‑shift briefings regarding specials, menu changes, and reservation requirements

• Adhering to all health, safety and sanitation standards

About You

Successful applicants will have:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar wait staff role

• Confidence using a POS system and handling cash transactions

• Basic math skills

• A genuine dedication to attentive, friendly service

• Professional presentation and strong communication skills

• Excellent organisational ability with the capacity to multitask in a fast‑paced environment

• A team‑oriented attitude
