We’re looking for an experienced and confident Casual Supervisor to join our team and help lead our front-of-house operations during live shows and events.
The Role
As a Casual Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth operations during service, supporting bar and floor staff, and delivering an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced, late-night environment. You’ll act as the go-to person on shift, helping manage the team, maintain safety standards, and handle customer queries professionally and efficiently.
This role is ideal for someone with previous bar or events supervisory experience who thrives in a high-volume nightlife setting.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support front-of-house and bar staff during live events
Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer service
Ensure responsible service of alcohol and compliance with licensing laws
Manage customer queries, complaints, and incidents calmly and professionally
Support cash handling and end-of-night reconciliation procedures
Coordinate with security and technical teams during live events
Monitor crowd flow and maintain a safe environment
Assist with opening and closing procedures

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.

Previous supervisory experience in a bar, nightclub, or live events venue
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to stay calm under pressure in a busy, late-night setting
Confident decision-maker with a proactive attitude
Excellent customer service skills
Flexible availability, including late nights and weekends
First Aid or conflict management training (desirable but not essential)
