JOB DESCRIPTION

Blackbird Bar and Restaurant are proud to represent Ghanem Group at this year's Night Feast - Awakening your appetite at New Farm running from 29th July 2026 through to 23rd August 2026. 

We are seeking Junior Chef’s / Cooks to support our team - shifts will run from Wednesdays nights through to Sunday night from 29th. Good shifts and amazing experience for junior Chefs and experienced cooks. There will be potential to transition to permanent roles.  

 

You’ll be:

  • Supporting a section during high-volume service
  • Maintaining prep, consistency, and cleanliness at all times
  • Working closely with Sous & Head Chefs to execute service smoothly
  • Contributing to a strong, team-first kitchen culture


You are:

  • Confident in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Calm under pressure and organised in service
  • Someone who takes pride in consistency and standards
  • A team player who lifts the people around them

 

You’ll be working with:

  • Experienced leadership across the group (including Group Exec Chef oversight)
  • High-volume environments that are organised, not chaotic
  • Teams being trained together, not thrown together
