JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Prepare a high volume of coffees during busy service periods
  • Consistently produce quality espresso with great shot extraction
  • Achieve excellent milk texture and temperature
  • Work efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
  • Keep the coffee station clean, organised and well stocked
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen, bar and floor teams
  • Assist with opening and closing coffee station duties
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Barista

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous barista experience, preferably in a high-volume environment
  • Strong understanding of espresso extraction and milk texturing
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
  • Consistent attention to coffee quality
  • Great communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable, punctual and well presented
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a busy team
  • Weekend availability is a MUST
