Saving Grace Bar is a cosy 50-seat bar/diner in Church Lane, Melbourne CBD. The bar enjoys a loyal local following, and has a strong focus on its core products of craft beer, cocktails and whisky. We also have Burger Boys in the kitchen, which makes a popular lunch spot. We’re busiest Monday to Friday during lunch and after work drinks, with some functions, and Saturday shifts too (we’re closed on Sunday’s and shifts finish at midnight Saturday, so there’s still plenty of time to catch up on Saturdays antics!)
We are looking for an organised and capable bartender to join our amazing small team for about 𝟭𝟱-𝟮𝟬 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸, mostly nights with some shifts during the day.
𝗔𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀, 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 - these shifts will be a mix of days/nights.
Experience is preferred.
We can offer a flexible roster, restaurant award rates (of course), and a great work environment. We’re a small team who get on well with each other, most of us have worked here for 1+ years which speaks for itself, a positive fun attitude is a must!

We roamed from the Dive Bars and Irish Pubs of New York and Boston to the blues and country joints of Nashville and Jackson. We travelled down the side streets and off the beaten track to experience all that America had to offer. We learnt everything from the perfect boilermaker to Madame Herbert's recipe for the perfect buffalo wing glaze. We were taught southern hospitality and northern one liners When we arrived back in Melbourne we knew what we had to do; Find a bar on a side street and fill it with whiskies, local beer, the blues and plenty of hospitality.
