Located in the heart of Mount Gravatt, Southern Cross Sports Club is a well-loved venue known for great service, a welcoming atmosphere, and strong ties to our local community. We’re currently looking for enthusiastic and experienced all-rounders to join our team.

This role would suit an individual who is looking for 25-30 hours and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

As a smaller venue, versatility is essential so we’re looking for team players who are happy to jump in and support each other across all areas of the club if needed.

To be successful, you must have previous experience in gaming, bar, and barista service, and ideally be available to work across a rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and late finishes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver fast, friendly, and professional customer service

• Operate and troubleshoot gaming machines, and Keno

• Accurately handle cash and EFTPOS transactions

• Prepare and serve quality coffee, drinks, and basic food

• Ensure the venue is clean, safe, and welcoming

• Comply with all RSA and RSG legislative requirements

The ideal candidates will have:

• A bright, positive attitude and team spirit

• Previous experience in gaming operations

• Confident barista skills

• Solid bar experience and previous gaming experience

• Excellent communication and attention to detail

• Strong personal presentation and reliability

• Current RSA and RSG certificates (QLD)
