As Assistant Venue Manager, you will support the Venue Manager in the day-to-day leadership and operations of this large, multi-outlet venue. This is a hands-on role suited to a strong hospitality leader who thrives in busy environments, leads from the front, and is passionate about team development, compliance, and guest experience.
You will play a key role in maintaining operational standards, driving service excellence, and contributing to a positive, high-performing team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the daily operations across all areas of the venue
• Lead, train, and motivate FOH teams to deliver exceptional service
• Ensure compliance with RSA, RCG, WHS, gaming, and venue regulations
• Assist with rostering, staffing levels, and labour efficiency
• Actively manage guest experience, feedback, and issue resolution
• Oversee cash handling, reconciliations, and reporting requirements
• Support gaming operations where required
• Step into Manager on Duty shifts as needed
About You:
• Previous experience in an Assistant Venue/Precinct Manager or similar role in a multi outlet venue
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and develop teams
• Experience working in fast-paced, multi-faceted hospitality venues
• Solid understanding of venue compliance, gaming, and operational standards
• Confident in managing guest feedback and operational challenges
• Flexible availability across days, nights, and weekends
• Current RSA & ARCG (essential)
• Gaming experience preferred
• Full Australian Working Rights (no sponsorship available for this role)
• Ability to obtain a Police Check
