Front of House & Hospitality All-Rounder – Recess Padel Club
About the Club
Recess Padel Club is a modern sports and social hub opening in Melbourne at the beginning of April. We focus on high-quality padel facilities, a premium juice bar, a wellness arm with a yoga studio, saunsa, and cold plunges. We are currently seeking a foundation team to manage daily operations and guest experience, who will help add to our strong sense of community.
The Role
This is a versatile, high-paced role that combines reception management, hospitality service, and proactive club growth. You will be responsible for the seamless flow of the club, moving between front-desk operations and beverage service while actively engaging with our player base.
Key Responsibilities:
* Bookings & Administration: Managing court reservations and event registrations via our booking systems.
* Proactive Engagement: Actively inviting players to join coaching clinics, social match-play, and upcoming club events to drive participation.
* Hospitality Service: Food and beverage preparation at the juice bar, maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness.
* Club Operations: Handling point-of-sale (POS) transactions, managing opening/closing procedures, and ensuring the facility remains in peak condition.
* Member Relations: Acting as a key point of contact for members and visitors, providing accurate information on club programs and memberships.
Requirements:
* Experience: Proven track record in hospitality, retail, or reception-based roles.
* Certifications: Valid RSA and Food Handling certificates are essential.
* Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
* Flexibility: Available to work a rotating roster, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
