Groundswell Brew and Bottle is in the Food Innovation Precinct next to Spinifex Brewery. We are the taproom for Spinifex beer and showcase the very best local WA craft beer, small-batch boutique distilleries, exceptional wines, and Frothin coffee.

We are looking for an energetic, multi-talented person who loves hospitality to join our team. If you love variety, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are passionate about everything from a perfect flat white to a local craft IPA, we want to hear from you.

The Role
This is a true all-rounder position where no two days are the same. You will seamlessly transition between the espresso machine, the bar, and the food prep station.

Your day-to-day will involve:

• Bar & Beverage Service: Pouring Spinifex beers, mixing boutique spirits, and sharing your knowledge of local producers with customers.
• Barista Operations: Dialling in and serving high-quality coffee under our Frothin banner.
• Food Preparation: Handling light food prep and serving quick, delicious bites to accompany our drinks.
• Shift Supervisor: Maintaining a safe, welcoming environment and opening and closing for the venue.

What We Are Looking For

• RSA & Bar Experience: Confident working behind a busy bar with a solid understanding of current WA liquor laws. 
• Approved Manager License: You currently hold a WA Approved Manager card, or you are willing to obtain it.
• Barista: Passionate about coffee - curious about origins and blends; able to be trained to handle a lever coffee machine..
• Food Prep Experience : Comfortable following food safety standards and preparing light menu items. Food Handlers Certificate
